My first cruise with AIDA!

Hey everyone!!

From the 18th to the 22nd I cruised for the first time in my life! In 2010, I’ve been at the ferry from Calais to Dover, but that’s something different. So I was really excited about this journey and I want to share some memories with you.

The trip was more or less sponsored by AIDA for young trainees who are trained as travel agents, so it was totally free for me. I only had to pay for additional drinks at the bar and the wifi on board.
The ocean carrier was AIDA. Our ship was AIDAsol which offered 5 buffet restaurants and 3 á-la-carte restaurants. The buffet restaurants were free, as well as the drinks there (soft drinks, tea, water, coffee…).  There were 15 decks all in all. Such a huuuge swimming hotel. :D

I got up at 4am at the 18th to get to Hamburg by train. I arrived at 11:30 am and met my friend Miro with whom I went to Loving Hut, my favorite vegan restaurant, to have lunch. Sadly, we only met for a short time, but it was nice talking to her again, haha. Afterwards I went to the bus stop where the shuttle should pick me up.  When I received the participants list I was looking for the girl I had to share a cabin with on facebook and found her! That’s why we met at the bus stop to go to the harbor together.

The check-in was super slow, so we were really bored. But our balcony cabin was awesome! The internet worked as well, so I took a lot of snaps and videos for snapchat. We met up with the rest of the group, got a short introduction and watched the ship setting off. What an awesome view over the cost of Hamburg!

Our cabin!

Nearly endless corridors. :D We were on deck 7!

Leaving Hamburg

After the introduction we had burgers at the Restaurant “California Grill”. Sadly it was the only restaurant which was open at that time so it was kinda crowded. In the evening we went to the East Restaurant together. They served food from Asia and that day the topic was Sri Lanka. I found so much vegan food at the buffet! Heavenly! They offered a wide range of different foods, desserts and even fruits. Everything was delicious so I couldn’t complain at all!

The East Restaurant

Thursday morning, right after the breakfast (We visited the Mark Restaurant which had buffets full of different foods. Cornflakes, bread, fruits, yoghurt, eggs, meat…. I don’t care about the last things mentioned, but I was so happy, that they even offered rice milk and soya milk! There was so much food, I couldn’t decide what to eat first) we visited every area of the ship to check out the attractions. Later a woman from the entertainment department showed us the rooms where the artists changed their cloths and where they come from. Every evening there are shows in the huge theater and the artists are graduates from famous drama schools all over the world.

The Markt Restaurant!

Part of the pool deck!

At lunch, we visited the Bella Donna restaurant which was a specialist in Italian food. There was also a lot of vegan dishes which was awesome for me. Afterwards we went on a small trip, because today’s harbor was Amsterdam! Sadly, we had to pay the trip by ourselves, so I’ve spent 35€ on the trip to Amsterdam. But it was totally worth it! We went to a huge flea market, visited small shops, the Anne Frank House and took a lot of photos! Amsterdam is such a beautiful city, believe me!
I’m not sure where we had dinner this evening, but I guess it was the East Restaurant again.
In the evening we watched a show. It wasn’t that good but also not bad… I’m just not really into Beatles music. :D

Amsterdam, my new love! <3

The huge theater on board!

The next stop was Dover in the UK. We arrived there at about 9am on Friday, so around the time we got ready for breakfast, we saw the ship arriving. Right after the breakfast we went on a free trip together to Canterbury, a small town in the south-east of England. Our guide was an old English lady who was really friendly and spoke clear English so everyone could understand her. We visited a huge cathedral (with awesome, colorful windows) and had some free time afterwards. My new friend and I went through the city center and went shopping at Primark. I bought a new pair of shoes and hair bows. Sadly, I didn’t exchange any money, but I could pay with my credit card. In another shop where I wanted to buy a postcard, I could even pay in Euro!

Cute, small Canterbury. <3 I bought Oreos there. :D

In the afternoon the department heads answered our questions about everything on this ship. We went to another show in the evening again. This one was so much better! The oriental costumes were amazing!

Later, we visited the pool deck where a huge Octoberfest party took place. Some travelers even wore Dirndl! But the music was awful so we left and went to the Anytime Bar where they played everthing but the German folk music. I drank my one and only cocktail this evening. Alcohol-free of course.

Octoberfest :D

On Saturday was a passage day, so no trip today. In the morning we were educated about booking and selling AIDA journeys to our customers. We had the rest of the day for ourselves, so we went to the Brauhaus for lunch. Well, most of the food was only available for dinner so I’ve eaten a Salad and went to the California Grill restaurant to have another burger. If I had brought my bikini with me, I would have tried the spa area with was free as well!

The Brauhaus. It's so cute!!

In the evening we were invited to the Á-la-carte restaurant “Buffalo Steak House”. As you can tell from the name, it’s a meat serving only restaurant. I asked our advisor if they can make a vegan dish for me. Honestly, I was kinda afraid of ending up with a plate or carrots or something… But I got a three-course menu with looked so much better than the original menu! And it was sooo delicious! I was so happy, that the head chef put so much effort into my dishes. He actually knew what it means to be a cook and to fulfill ones guests’ wishes. This was basically the best experience ever.

My awesome vegan food!! Thank you so much! <3

In the morning, we arrived in Hamburg. The night before I put my baggage in front of my cabin door, so the staff picked it up and I could get it back when I leave the ship. The advantage is that I don’t have to carry my luggage myself. Actually I wanted to sleep late, but my friend got up early so I woke up too. I went to breakfast at about 8:30am … Unhappily it was really crowded so I had to share a table with a family. :D I enjoyed my last breakfast at the Markt Restaurant and said farewell to the awesome ship.

It was an awesome experience and the ship didn’t seesaw as much as expected. The first night was horrible because the air condition was super loud and I also heard the waves of the ocean. I wasn’t even seasick, haha. Thank god.

All in all, I liked the service on AIDAsol. The
food was always delicious and warm, the staff in every area was super motivated and friendly and the cabins were always clean! I’d really recommend you to try such a cruise! And I’ll definitely go on one again if I have the money and the time.

Book fair in Leipzig 2016

Hey everyone!

Form 17th March to 20th March, I attended the famous book fair in Leipzig! Actually, I wanted to go there from Friday to Sunday but they changed my university schedule which suddenly said, I have no single lesson on Friday! So I got Thursday off instead and went to Leipzig for four days! This was pretty amazing since I had enough time to go shopping on Thursday. It gets really crowded on the other days.

My outfits:

On Thursday I started my trip with my friend Aiko! I also bought a lot, which you'll see in a photo at the end of this post. :D
At the end of the day I ate something which didn't taste that good so I felt sick and couldn't eat proper dinner with my friends. ;___;

I wore my Sakuya Lolita JSK this day, because it's really comfortable, hehe.

Photos by Ursus van Draco: Blog/Deviant Art

On Friday, my boyfriend arrived in Leipzig too. He stayed at my friend's place with me, so it was pretty cool, that we could spend the con together. We don't see each other regularly so this was a rare moment, haha.
I wore my Powder Rose coord! It's one of my faves, especially because I'm in love with my headdress, haha. :D
I met my cute friend Maybelle right at the end of the day!
For dinner, we went to Pizza Hut. I was so hungry, that eating this delicious Margarita was the best thing I ever did. xD

Me with Maybelle <3 One of my most liked pictures on Instagram. :D

On Saturday, I actually wanted to buy the book my friend Himezawa has published last year, but I was too late, so the copies they brought for that day have been sold already.
My boyfriend and I spent the most of the time in the games area, in front of the stage or playing Go. Saturday is always super busy and crowded but I met a lot of people! Almost everyone I wanted to meet! It's really difficult to find each other on Saturday. ;w;
I also attended the Lolita meet up and had a nice chat with the girls. :D Everyone liked my Sakuya Lolita coord, because it was sparkling. My whole coord was from Taobao. :D

With Maybelle again

I also met Mikan! I followed his posts for a long time and I was really happy to finally meet him in person!

On Sunday, I wore a cosplay! It was a bit cold every now and then but in the end, I enjoyed being Kotori, haha. I also bought the copy of Himezawas book and some Pocky. The day was kinda quiet, so we played games or watched the shows on the stage. :D I love less exhausting days like that.
With Maybelle again! <3

We were lucky enough to meet Jamie Lee Kriewitz short before her autograph session! She's so cute!!

Some derpy photos with Sheepcloud Cosplay <3

And a photo with Doko-kun. :D

Here is my "small" book fair haul!

Kotori Minami (Snow Halation) figure, Popteen April 2016, GLB spring 2016, Love Live Poster, Sailor Moon necklace by Melty Wish, Staubmädchen by Sabrina Schultes and the sushi pillow. The pillow was a gift from my boyfriend. :D

I had some really nice (and exhausting) days, but it was totally worth it! My next con will be Mizacko in Zwickau and after that, Connichi in Kassel. Since I'm planning to go to Japan in fall, I don't go to any other con this year. Saving up. :)

I hope you liked my post! See you soon!

DeDeCo in Dresden

Hey everyone!

I attended DeDeCo in Dresden again this year. It took place from 12th to 14 March! It was my fifth DeDeCo and guess what; it was the fifth DeDeCo in general! So I went to that con from the very beginning!

On Friday I had to take an exam in economics. It wasn't that difficult so I guess I passed. Economics was my favorite subject while everyone else complained about it. I dunno why. :D
After another two lectures of law, a friend took me with her to Dresden. This was so much better than going by train. ><

This time I took a lot of photos and I'm so happy about that! I still feel like I need some more, but I will show you some in this post. :D

I didn't buy much, only food, a bracelet with stars for my gothic coord, a second hand G&LB and a love live poster. :D

Here's my coord on Friday! <3

On Saturday I cosplayed again! After almost two years I wore a cosplay!
I decided to cosplay Kotori because she's my favorite character and I just love the anime so much! I got the costume from taobao and I will write a review about it some day. :D

On sunday I wore a coord which was very different from my usual ones. I tried Gothic Lolita for the first time! I pre-ordered the dress in October and it arrived exactly three days before DeDeCo. I had to drive to the customs office to pic it up but it was definitely worth it! I love the fabric and how I'm looking in it! I got a lot of compliments and I'm sooo happy!
It was Valentine's day but unfortunately my boyfriend couldn't come. He was at the con on Saturday but he really needed as many days as possible for studying. ;___;

My favorite taobao shop ~ part 2 ~ 苛苛软妹性感无敌小天

Hey everyone!

Today I'd like to introduce another great shop to you! The translation of the Chinese name is "Harsh harsh soft sexy sister invincible small day" and I really wonder if that's the correct translation, haha.

Basically they're selling cute casual cloths like dresses and skirts which can be used for Larme Kei or Himekaji coords.
I've seen a lot of their items at reseller shops for like three times the price. If you use a shopping service like Basetao (Review is here) you can save tons of money by ordering directly from taobao!

Here are some examples:

If you aren't that tall, it's a perfect and cute lolita dress!

Price: ~$15.00

They're super cute and perfect for daily wear!

Price: ~ $4.25

Cute himekaji dress which comes in blue as well!

Price: ~$13.00

This is one of the dresses I see the most in reseller stores. It's so cute!

Price: ~$12.00

Comes in tarten red as well! It's quite short but if you wear tights it'll be okay!

Price: ~$13.00

I really recommend buying directly from taobao, because of the prices. It's not that difficult to get a shopping service! I'm always replying to your questions about a shopping service!
To be honest, I don't support many of these resellers at storenvy for example. The cloths are cute and in a good quality, but still it's not "worth" to pay like $30 for these.

I hope you liked the shop I've chosen for you!

See you soon!

My photos from the Eastern Elegance Christmas Tea Party ♥

Hey guys!!

Finally I can show you the photos our photographer took of me! It's only three ones, but I'm okay with that!

I really like that one:

The wind is making my skirt look weird... but still, I like the upper part of the photo, haha. :D

I actually just cut out this part from the whole photo... because the rest looks fully. xD

Wanna see the rest??

Really??

Okay...

Here you go!!

It looks like I have to pee. :'D Somehow... :D

Did you like the photos?
How can I improve my posing? What would you change about my coord??
Please tell me what you think!! ♥

Eastern Elegance Christmas Tea Party 2015

Hello frillies!

At the 5th December (which is actual international lolita day) I attended the second Christmas tea party of my comm. This time it took place in Jena in a room which belonged to the church. Behind the house was a small park which was nice for taking photos.

Sadly the location wasn't the best. I really liked the one last year. This time it only looked like... a room (eating in there was like eating in a school's canteen). They tried to make a nice decoration, but sadly it didn't help to make the room look nice.

I took some photos of the buffet:

Sweets and cakes

Little puddings (which contained gelatin except for the chocolate ones... which I didn't like.)

The other food we had which wasn't candy. :D

All in all I liked the food. It was enough and tasty and there were some vegetarian ones for me. But I'll never understand why people need to put gelatin into self-made pudding. It's disgusting.

At the beginning we got some small goodie bags.
In this photo you can see mine and my secret santa gift.

Basically we ate, had a raffle and took some photos. It was kinda cold outside so we couldn't be outside for that long. There was also a Bring & Buy where I bought super cute new shoes!

I can't wait to wear them in summer! *o*

And here are the gifts I got from the goodie bag and my secret santa gift!

Secret santa gift: The macaroon box which contained the purple macaroon necklace, package of tiny Hello Kitty nailfiles, cute bracelet with cakes and ice cream, vegan chocolate, Hello Kitty plasters.
Raffle/goodie bag: Fake lashes, necklace with blue bow, black necklace

I was so happy that my secret santa gave me vegan chocolate! I wasn't expecting that because even my close friends forget about looking at the ingredients when they give me food. :D
Unfortunately I don't have any photos of my coord yet... but a group photo:

Here's a photo of the coord from the tea party. It was taken two weeks later when I was wearing it again for the Christmas party of my Anime club.

I really hope I'll get the photos soon, so I can make a post with them. I'm still waiting for the ones from Connichi in September tho...

See you again!! <3
